A deciduous tree which can grow up to 20 meters. Its crown is well developed and broad, casting a heavy shade underneath. Leaves are large, green and toothed with an expressed venation. Tiny flowers appear in april and sweet fruits ripen in may and june. A mulberry tolerates heavy pruning and drought. It loves a sunny, warm position.
